Refugees approaching the border from Serbia to Hungary. There is a collection point another kilometer down the road. Many of the refugees are confused of their rights, obligations and even their location. This gap in the border is due to be closed by Hungarian authorities on Tuesday 15th September. Posts are already in place to complete the fence. UNHCR is present at the border, and at the collection point UNHCR is providing information and coordinating the site with NGOs, both local and international. An estimated 11,000 crossed the border on the previous day, Saturday 12th, and more were expect to arrive today, September 13th, before the border is closed.
