Farm in the traditional agricultural land close to Murtensee in Central Switzerland, from which much of the country’s fruit and vegetables are still produced, ironically often using modern soil-less techniques. Almost all of the farmwork is carried out by seasonal migrant labour from Portugal, Macedonia, Poland and Roumania. Leak fields being harvested by hand due to heavy rainfall which has rendered the land unsuitable for machine automation.
