Dennis, Mark and Dave, outside the Britannia pub, their local, close to the Boston Stump in the city centre. "It's too dangerous to be around here at night, there are murders - they're killing each other, but it will really kick off when they kill one of us" - Boston now has the highest murder rate per head of population in the country - "if there was another vote, it would be the same result here, or perhaps more so". Boston was the district which voted most extremely for Brexit in the UK, by 75.6% per cent of the popular vote on a high turnout of 77.2%. The neighbouring fenland district of South Holland, was the district second most in favour of Brexit.
