Refugees walking along an old railway line, just after passing across the border with Serbia. Many of them have walked up to 50 kilometers. Refugees, mostly from Syria, simply walked through a hole in the border fence with Serbia by the hundreds on Sunday, only to be stopped by police and held in a field a kilometre away. The official border reception centres are full and refugees must camp on the ground, dependent on food donated by volunteer groups
